Ingredients

  • 500g minced beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ½ x 1kg pack McCain Mixed Vegetables Peas, Corn and Carrots
  • ½ cup beef stock, or ½ cup water + 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 x 400g can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled, boiled and drained
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese

How to make it

  1. In a large non stick pan, fry beef and onion until browned, then add paprika and celery.
  2. Add in McCain Mixed Vegetables Peas, Corn and Carrots. Pour in stock and tomatoes, then stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour into a large oven proof dish. Mash potatoes and milk until smooth, and spread over the mince mix, then top with cheese.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes at 190C until cheese is melted and serve hot.
  5. Sprinkle with extra paprika to serve if desired.
