Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- ½ cup chopped celery
- ½ x 1kg pack McCain Mixed Vegetables Peas, Corn and Carrots
- ½ cup beef stock, or ½ cup water + 1 beef stock cube
- 1 x 400g can crushed tomatoes
- 2 large potatoes, peeled, boiled and drained
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheese
How to make it
- In a large non stick pan, fry beef and onion until browned, then add paprika and celery.
- Add in McCain Mixed Vegetables Peas, Corn and Carrots. Pour in stock and tomatoes, then stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour into a large oven proof dish. Mash potatoes and milk until smooth, and spread over the mince mix, then top with cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 190C until cheese is melted and serve hot.
- Sprinkle with extra paprika to serve if desired.
